The RIAA - The Recording Industry Association of America - has sued over 18,000 Americans for downloading music online. Everyday people - single moms, priests, grandmothers and 13 year old girls.

This song, by NY Times tech columnist David Pogue, gets at the sillyness of this campaign - to the tune of the Village People's YMCA.

Now, you can sing, dance, and do the RIAA letters - all of that will get in. If you really don't want to sing, you can just dance and do the letters. But I can't sing and it didn't stop me!

The music can't be playing in the background! You have to wear headphones, otherwise it won't all cut together! If you want to create a version that you put music to, great, but I need a version that has no music.
