Hey Open Source Cinema users! We're very excited to announce that B-Side entertainment is bringing Rip to the big screen in New York City on June 19th! In parallel with our Open Source Screening program, we're opening in select theaters across the country, including the Cinema Village and 92YTribeca in Manhattan! We're really looking for your support, as this opening weekend will decide if we stay on for a week in New York and continue to have way too much fun remixing culture + questioning copyright!

And to make things interesting - we're asking for YOUR contributions to evolve the film for New York! Especially if you're a New Yorker, because we want to remix Times Square from a private space into a public domain. Its similar to the Copyright Criminals project we did for Rip - remix an image and we'll compile them into an animation for the film, and will show it at our New York City screening!
