Preempting Dissent -- Open Sourcing Secrecy
In collaboration with researchers and filmmakers at the Infoscape Research Lab at Ryerson University and the Department of Communication, Florida State University, Open Source Cinema is hosting the collaborative production of “Preempting Dissent -- Open Sourcing Secrecy”, a documentary based on the book by Greg Elmer and Andy Opel. By publishing a “road map” of production, this project will engage the audience through all stages of the project, and will create both a feature length documentary and enable a non-linear open source cinematic database that will evolve over time. The film will combine submissions, personal testimonials and mashups created by Open Source Cinema participants, along with the filmmakers content on preemptive forms of law enforcement and governance that have emerged in the post 9/11 world. This open source content will be available for users to remix their own documentaries. This project is funded in part by the Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada, the Department of Communication, Florida State University, Anglia Ruskin University, and the Bell Globemedia Research Chair, Ryerson University.

Thank you for wonderful post
When the US Supreme Court ruled on the Kelo v New London case, giving government the ability to seize property and give it to private developers to expand the tax base as a 'public purpose', I and my friends went into action. One was merely reading a book on the porch of a home seized from a homeowner in New London. She then spent six months in prison, uncharged, untried, shackled to a bed in a prison clinic, subjected to light 24/7. She was finally released for christmas so she could be with her children.
I organised a project to propose eminent domaining the country estates of justices Breyer and Souter in New Hampshire. In response the government faked up a drivers license suspension based on an alleged unpaid speeding ticket in Washington State that had been thrown out by that states supreme court previously. NH state police got the courts to suspend my drivers license for 4 years, twice as long as anybody in NH history who has not committed a DWI or vehicular manslaughter. I support this project and agree to participate if so asked.

It is a good idea. Usually the documentary movies are short but it reflects some message to the society. Such movies are not to entertain the audience, which makes the audience to think.

Our bidet toilet seat products promise a better bathroom experience for all ages for both men and women. Bidet toilet seats were originally invented in the U.S. and have become a common household product in many Asian homes. They are known overseas as a shower toilet or a bidet seat. A bidet seat replaces a typical round or oval toilet seat found in any ordinary bathroom. Our bidet seats are easy to use and easy to install.
